The long journey of a little drop by Marco

Once upon a time, a drop called Nosewater lived in the sea with millions of drops. One day, the sun warmed the sea and every drop evaporated and... up to the sky they went!

They were afraid so they took their hands and formed clouds. After that, the wind moved the clouds and took them next to a mountain.

Later, they calmed down and unfastened their hands and went down very quickly and fell over someone's head, rivers, lakes, seas... but some drops also fell in porous rocks and they filtered into the soil and deeper.

Our friend Nosewater fell into a river and it took him towards the sea. But in the middle of the river, he crashed with a dam and Nosewater and some of his friends went to a city and arrived to a house by a drainpipe. In the house, Nosewater and his friends cleaned the teeth of a girl and fell into the drain again.

They walked along the drain into a sewage treatment plant where they were cleaned. Later, they returned to the sea ready to start again the journey.

...and remember:

Save the planet.

Don't waste water!

Greenhouse effect by Ana

This is the first thing sent by one of my students. It's a picture created by Okanagan university college in Canada and shows how greenhouse effect works and how much radiation is involved.
Thanks a lot, Ana!
